Just Keep Flowing into 2026

It’s been a long year, but, my goodness, it went fast. December will screech by before we know it, taking 2025 with it. Like many, we cannot help but to pause to think about all that was achieved this year and what is on the horizon.

We traveled to shows, like the convention put on by the Association of the Wall and Ceiling Industry (AWCI). AWCI’s next show, Build26 is March 15-18 in New Orleans, and you bet you will find us there. We also took our annual trip to the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Conference on Architecture & Design. We will be headed to San Diego this year June 10-13 for AIA26. We are looking forward to all the networking and problem-solving at these shows.

We promoted a few cool projects filled with curves, like the Salina Health Center in Salina, Okla. We were fortunate that the contractor was spotlighted in Walls & Ceilings magazine. We want to promote the work of more architects and contractors, so if you have a project to share that uses our products, reach out to Micah at mjuengel@flexabilityconcepts.com.

We continued to promote our latest offering, Snap Lock, which stabilizes studs by preventing twisting, ensuring superior resistance to buckling under axial loads. The product is a 16- or 24-inch bridging bar that snaps together within the knockout of the stud to provide exceptional torsional stud restraint. A screw at the beginning and at the end of a run are the only screws needed no matter the length of the run. Other bridging products require clips and screws at every stud. If a different length is needed, maybe at the beginning or end of a run, the bridging bar flanges can be snipped. Then the product can be folded over and screwed into place using the small pre-punched holes. Larger holes are also provided in Snap Lock to allow for other products, such as conduit, to easily pass through.

New Year’s is just a mark of time, but we as a society tend to take it pretty seriously for the close of one chapter and the start of another. Everyone at Flex-Ability Concepts is excited about where our future is going because maybe we think and operate the company just like our curves. We are not closing chapters, we just keep flowing, flexing and bending.
